Volunteer opportunities at Elger Bay Elementary!
There are many volunteer opportunities at Elger Bay Elementary. If you would like to volunteer in the classroom, at special events or anywhere else working with students, you need to fill out some forms. Please see the EBE school office or the District office for the forms. (We hope to have these forms available on line soon)
Classroom Volunteers:
Check with your child’s teacher for volunteer opportunities in the classroom. These may include reading with students, helping students with their work, copying, craft and other special projects, etc.
SFA Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed a few days each week to read with students for 20 minutes. Check with DeAnn Larson, SFA Facilitator, at ext. 2514 for more information.
Special Events:
Volunteers are needed to help with special events such as “Jump Rope for Heart”, “Fun Run”, picture days, “Field Day”, “Missoula Children’s Theatre”, “Student Art Show” and music programs.
Check the “Calendar” from menu at left for dates and detailed information.
Library:
Mrs. Brown is frequently in need of volunteers to help in the library with special projects, covering books, fixing books and putting books back on the shelves. *Parent volunteers are needed to work at the book fairs.

*You must be a PTA member to handle money as this is an insurance requirement.
