Do You Need HIB Training?
Most of our parent volunteers have already attended the brief (20-30 minute) Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying (HIB) training. This training is REQUIRED YEARLY, in order to work with students in our school or attend field trips or camp with our children, so please make sure you attend one of these sessions:
Please note: There are no other EBE trainings currently scheduled for this year. You may take the HIB training at another school if they have a more convenient time.
Pacific Science Center fun at EBE!
On December 7th, the Pacific Science Center visited Elger Bay Elementary! After an exciting and informative morning assembly, including demonstrations with things such as liquid nitrogen and electricity, the fun moved to the library where hand-on exhibits were set up. Each class had a scheduled block of time to visit the library and participate in various science activities with physics, electricity and more! It was a wonderful day of learning for our students and we are thankful to our PTA for arranging this opportunity for us!
